For this edition, CAMPUS is in full swing at the FCVQ from September 9 to 11, 2026, at two specific venues: the Maison de la littérature and the Morrin Centre. In a warm, inspiring, and motivating setting, a small group of emerging creatives will have the opportunity to participate in a marathon of exclusive lectures and workshops led by industry professionals, covering a wide range of fields and themes.
This year, the focus will be on the filmmakers and films that have left their mark on the festival and/or the film scene in Quebec City over the past fifteen years. The cohort will be mentored by Marc-Antoine Rioux (screenwriter).
A glimpse at the program: six exclusive events and privileged access to activities at the Morrin Centre, our venue reserved for our accredited professionals.
Exclusive Workshops:
Filmmakers’ Secrets: Short Films from Here and Abroad (with Justice Rutikara and Romy Boutin St-Pierre, in collaboration with Spira); Writing for Film and Television with Marc-Antoine Rioux (screenwriter); genre cinema with Jean-François Leblanc (filmmaker and FCVQ jury member), a master class by Myriam Verreault (filmmaker), a directing lesson with Philippe Falardeau (filmmaker), and a panel on sound and music synchronization in collaboration with Phoque Off, APEM, and SOCAN.
Other side events will complement these workshops, including lunches, 5 to 7, discussions, networking opportunities, and an invitation to our opening film.
